Design Contest Agreement Terms

 

 AGREEMENT 

This agreement sets out the roles and responsibilities of Power Giving hereafter PG and Artist in regard to the Power Giving Design Contest 2022. 

Categories For Submission Shall Be:

To Dream 

To Read 

To Serve 

To Smile 

To Care 

Each Artist may submit multiple designs in each category and as many categories as they wish. 

Artist Responsibilities 

1. Artist agrees, upon signing below and by entering the contest and if selected as a winner, authorization for PG to own the full legal rights to reproduce the submitted design for PG’s reproduction for its product line with no expiration date or limitation of quantity of use. 

 

2. The submission shall be provided in the following format: 

 

A. Each design shall be submitted in its own one-page PDF document. 

B. Document title shall be in the format of: tagline_artist first name_artist last name_1.pdf 

Example: Learn_John_Smith_1.pdf 

(the ‘1’ signifies first submission for a certain tag, so if you are submitting two 

designs for Learn) the next would be: 

Learn_John_Smith_2.pdf 

C. Design shall be in vector format, 8.5 x 11 inches 

D. Design shall be original artwork of the Artist 

E. Design shall be one-color 

F. Submissions are due, via the website by 12 pm (cst) May 25, 2022. 

3. Artist shall submit, if chosen as a winner, a 1099 tax document for payment processing. Form must be received by PG before any payment is made. 

 

4. Once submitted regardless of being chosen, Artist agrees not use this design or any close variance for any other purpose. 

 

Power Giving Responsibilities 

1. PG will award $1,000 for winning the contest category and for full rights to the submitted design to be used for clothing, marketing, social media and other uses at the discretion of PG. Payment will be delivered by June 1, 2022 in the form of Venmo or Paypal. 

 

2. PG will include on its website the "Design Winners" to include a picture of winning designers, a 100 word biography and a link to Artist’s website with contact information. Artist may opt out of this promotion opportunity by providing notice to PG of intent by June 4, 2022. 

 

Parties acknowledge there is no relationship created by entering into this contract other than the terms on this document. Parties are governed by the laws of the state of Wisconsin, and Washburn County. Artist agrees to hold harmless PG for any acts or omissions as a result of the agreement. This agreement may only be modified in writing by the parties.
